Hi  I m Sam

I'm a Vermont mom with a full time job, and creating music is a passion of mine. It's mainly for fun, but it's also something I take seriously. While I'm incredibly proud of my songs, I feel nervous about sharing them with the world. What calls me here is the connection that songwriting can bring to the table, and showing my girls that they can do anything they put their minds to - what a better way to do that than for them to watch their Mama pour everything into her passion?

i am obsessed with creating.

I paint, knit/crochet, draw, build toys, you name it I do it. And I have always loved to sing. I sang in every possible group or choir from high school to college. Then after college it all just kind of went quiet for me. It wasn't until I was getting married that I realized the best way for me to express my vows was through song. So I picked up the guitar, learned a few chords and wrote my vows for my husband. I performed this song at our ceremony and it really sparked my passion back into action.  When it came to learning guitar and writing music it filled my soul in a way that no other form of creating has done.

Then I got involved with a producer and musicians,

...and realized this could be more than just a few songs to hand out to my family at Christmas.

I write songs to process my world and experiences. And as an outlet for others' experiences that I am trying to make sense of. The first song I ever wrote was after my mom passed when I was 12. I sat at a piano that I didn't know how to play and figured out some chords that would support my stream of feelings, which was my very first experience with the healing power of songwriting. I've felt deeply connected with the process ever since.

I hope I can show the world that music is for everyone to enjoy and create, and you don't have to have it all figured out to be a part of it.
